You do know there are several NATO countries already as close to Moscow? Submarines allow closer access to Moscow than Ukraine In a Nuclear exchange it doesn't matter where you are on Earth. No one is going to have a good day. There was no intention of allowing Ukraine into NATO. Ukraine would not be allowed to have nuclear missiles. That was 60 years ago, technology, counter counter measures, multiple reentry, low altitude deiivery and destruction radiuses has made that thinking very obsolete. Putin is adding countries to NATO
