    Both my great uncles (Poles) were killed by Ukrainian nationalists just days after the end of WW2. Any form of extremism is not to be tolerated. The Poles now, like any decent minded person, understand that the extreme Imperialism of Putin is their greatest external threat of the here and now. The past has gone and that period is a footnote in history (painful as it is to many).

    All the poles not like they want is a proper sorry, so they forgive and reconcile. The Poles have been probably the staunchest ally of Ukraine in this war and an active reconciliation will only strengthen those bonds. After all, it is my view, it is stupid to hold the child responsible for the sins of the father, as we see all over the world how centuries of inbred hatred works out.
