You didn't read the previous one, did you?
Go on, go back one further and watch the video of what the President of Ukraine said, at the time. That post (the one your reference) was in relation to the previous one which I outlined clearly the conditions where a group of people can seek "Self Determination" under the UN Charter. Now, make sure you listen carefully to what Poroshenko said about people in the Donbass region and how they will be treated by his Gov. And read the rest of the post.
Finally, have a look at the Minsk agreement signed by the Ukraine Gov - that in itself acknowledges the right of Self-Determination by the people of the Donbass region - ie autonomy. But since 2014, the Ukraine Gov (after signing it) refused to implement it.
Btw, an interesting note, the expiry of that agreement (Minsk Agreement) was 21st Feb 2022. And War began 24th Feb 2022. Can you see the link?
And since the expiry of that agreement, the regions have declared itself Independent States: Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics.
Still don't understand it?
Well, I suggest after you finish your driving shift, enrol in a remedial class.
