I didn't rule out an invasion. What I have been saying since page one and on other Ukraine threads is -
I don't believe that Putin intended to invade Ukraine in the first place. It is a crisis manufactured in Washington to advance their interests.
But if Ukraine attacks the breakaways or Crimea the Russians can't exactly sit on their hands forever either. A response by Russia would be presented as confirmation that "Russia invades Ukraine" and then crippling sanctions would be applied and nordstream cancelled.
Or at a certain point, it may finally dawn on Putin/Xi that US/German imperialism is like a Great White shark, it cannot stop moving forward it has no conscience, a voracious appetite and it can't be negotiated with and decide WTF might as well get the first round away.
