Moo, you are talking about ‘sanctions’ again, ignoring the fact that Europe views Putinist Russia as a pariah state and is signing contracts for future gas supply with the likes of Qatar, Azerbaijan, and Norway. They are hardly going to turn around and say to new suppliers “sorry, we stopped the sanctions - you are dumped and we are going back to Russia”. This fiction that at some stage all will be forgiven and everyone will flock back to Russia is just absurd. It doesn’t make any sense. The Putinists need to understand that the West does not have some obligation to do business with Russia.
