    At least with oil, economic sanctions are not working because
    since the War Russian production has only dropped 3%
    while the price/BBL has lifted 10.5% (from $85 to $94)
    having hit over $100/bbl for most of the time since March

    & Gas is a similar story.

    So, IMO, the war will have last a few years at least until sanctions
    start to stifle Russia's petro-based economy due to the West finding
    alternative supply at the right price.
