While Russia is getting stuck in the Mud in Ukraine, Xi is merrily planning ahead and implementing its expansion scheme. Xi is to visit Saudi Arabia soon and sign up with few ME countries baiting them on loans that will trap them like Sri Lanka. Xi is also trapping Cash staved Bangladesh and Nepal on similar projects. Most critical of them is the loan from Tibet to Kathmandu. Nepal not only will be trapped through the loan they cannot afford but will have to lease access for China to cut through Nepal in any confrontation with India.
Putin must be fuming on all this as China has zeroed the belt and road initiative in Russia to go south and go west. Xi next move could be go NE to Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, get in to the ring with Putin and go north?
