Putinists have lots of aircraft. The loss of about 10 aircraft with another 12 rendered unserviceable won't make a long term difference.

What will make a difference is the loss of around 65 Putinist pilots and aircrew in addition to skilled support crew losses and injuries. They will not be so easy to replace as the aircraft.

The strike was timed for when aircrew were exp exmctex to be present. There are other Putinist airbases in Crimea and the war of attrition will continue.
