IMO this will also be the fate of Kiev unless a ceasefire/compromise is reached which, IMO will mean the Ukraine forfeiting Donbas & the connecting territory to Crimea.
So long as Russia controls the Ukrainian airspace , Putin is in a position to "give the Kiev an offer it cant refuse"
Ukraine's attacks on the Crimea now means open season by the Russians on Kiev, IMO.
I just wish that it was otherwise, but unfortunately in war might is right and the sanctions will take at least a few years before they hit the average Russian which is the only way that the Putin regime can be debunked and replaced by a more reconciliatory one.
i guess that is the US plan: -a protracted Ukraine War -a weakened Russia -a weakened Europe -a weakened Euro -and the US is looking good Houston....... and have a nice day!
