The assault on Odessa will probably happen by sea at a time when the Ukrainian army is mired in Winter mud, IMO. And let's face it, the Ukraine's grain harvest this year will likely be half of what it was last year so a demolition of the grain storage bins will not be as costly as if the Ruskies had demolished them earlier this year
We have no details of the current grain shipments but you can bet that both Russia & Turkey are getting their cuts. this, IMO, is why negotiations took so long.
