Russia didn't "own" Ukraine 'til Peter the great back in the 1700's .

If we used your arguement logically we could say Poland has much more of a claim to Ukraine than Russia !
We could also say that historically that as Moscow was subservient to Kiev ,then using your arguement Ukraine has claims on russia prior to the russian claims on Ukraine .

But the truth is all countries mentioned here have a long history as countries and your'e arguement is one that only , you putes and a few extremsists in Moscow pretend to believe .

All the world accepts Ukraine as a country and frankly your opinion does not matter .
