Russia has never won a modern-day war and by the look of it never will. It will take 20+ years for it to get back the gear lost in this war thus far and few generations to build up a military capable of modern tactical combat warfare. Might take even longer to build up leadership of guiding modern warfare.

Contrary to Moscow propaganda, Russian modern war history has been nothing but unending failures.

Russia's defeat by Japan led the first Russian Revolution in 1905.

Military failures in world war one sparked the demise of Tsar dynasty resulting in 1917 revolution.

Russia won the eastern plank of the world war 2 thanks to 180million weaponry package by US but with a loss of 27million inhabitants if you can call it a victory.

Late 1980's Russia lost in Afghanistan leading to the collapse of the USSR.

Now they are getting beaten from all angles in Ukraine.

Without NAZI Wagners, Chechens and Asians, Ukraine would have been catastrophic for Russia still it might be.
