of course he did, they all have and they all did
because that is what the west does.. hollow rhetoric about 'freedom' and 'values' and 'democracy' taunting the poor people who have never really experienced it, to 'keep fighting for it'
yet when the dust settles and the bodies are counted we will all see that a lot of good ordinary people were buried with their belief in 'freedom' 'values' and 'democracy'
Ukrainians were not imprisoned by the RF they were undoubtedly influenced and manipulated by the RF but that's the way it is
and we here, in little old OZ, with no dramas whatsoever with the RF apart from MH17 and some questionble idealogical differences, chose to join the conga line of consensus that the RF is 'evil' a 'bully' a 'terrorist state' a 'threat to world peace' blah blah blah and thus, be drawn, once again, into an appalling situation of which mass
bloodshed and destruction are the only certainty
and we also have ourselves a brand new enemy, the nuclear armed, blue water capable, RF
I would argue that the bloody coup in Myanmar deserved more of our attention than Ukraine and yet we have done nothing to protect the civilians of that nation who are literally being murdered by their own military
the west has conducted war against sovereign nations, against the UN Charter, against the will of the people, against the values of ordinary people and it is the west that can stop this war now because the west knows war so well yet we have not used it for territorial gain just idealogical geo politics
the RF at least goes to war for territory, if nothing else of value
