Ukraine is willing to stop
Russia is willing to stop with the proviso that they have half of Ukraine

Negotiation will never work on this basis

Plus Russia is an independent country so they have to give Ukraine the same ability to do whatever they think is right for them IE be independant

Invasion is invasion regardless of history, you can't just take what you like without repercussions
