Well if you're going to drag up and reference Afghanistan, casualties, events etc why not explore the Soviet Union's disastrous invasion there where there are estimates of up to 2 million Afghan civilian deaths resulting from their 9 year debacle and where they are estimated to suffered about 15000 dead.
Too inconvenient ?
I bet Vlad's envious of those Soviet loss numbers by comparison to his current disastrous Ukrainian exercise where in only about 7 months he's lost who knows how many of a multiple of 15000.
