watso has not got the time to read all the posts (and has so many posters on ignore) .. so apologies if someone else has already pointed out the fallacy of your argument in relation to syria ..

according to your graph , the syrian population peaked in about 2010 and then started to decline .. and the odds are good that america was the instigator of the syrian conflict (but that is a different story)..

watso suggests that you refresh your memory - of when russia got involved in syria !!

for what it is worth, but looking at the graph, watso can see that after russia got involved - the population of syria stabilized ..indeed, watso thinks that he can actually see a slight uptick in the syrian population after the involvement of russia ..
