Political extremists starting to fill up the thread with the content that they use as a substitute for the reality of Ukraines recent battlefield successes: blog posts produced mainly by far right websites, with some far left content thrown in for good measure. Again, this is the 'horseshoe theory' as regards political extremism in evidence yet again. These political extremists seek comfort in these blog posts as a coping mechanism and as a way of reassuring themselves of 'ultimate victory'. No matter how many times they get it wrong, there is always a new cleverly crafted narrative to comfort them that in fact they are on the right track, and all that is required is just a little more patience. And even if Russia does lose this war, their confidence in the narratives being spoon-fed to them will not be shaken. There is always a new narrative to indulge their fantasies, and it will be along the lines of 'the satanic globalists won this round, but it is all part of the plan: we are lulling them into a false sense of security. 'Good' will triumph!'. The propagandists of the political extremists use religious tropes about a vast fantastical war of good vs evil to hook their deluded dupes, and it is this fantasy that proves so addictive and impossible to shake.
