I don't think Russia is going to be the superpower that it once was so that's a moot point.
The war is going to be ruinous for Putin's regime and there is a tipping point.
The next few weeks are crucial.
If anything, Ukraine may be the circuit breaker that exposes Russia's superpower status to be a veneer.
It cannot continue trying to revive the USSR, the world has moved on.
NATO is united like never before, the western world is similarly united.
There's an opinion piece I found on the world may have prevented WW3 by this confrontation, but I've lost the bookmark.
