Even the Russian army understands that the only way to end the war is to remove Putin.

Nobody trusts Putin on the world stage, not even the Russian army.

He's being protected by a small coterie of nationalist extremists and Chechyan mercenaries.

At some point, someone is going to break out and remove him.

His replacement will be someone approved by the FSB and could be even be worse than Putin.

So far, no agreement on whom so he stays in place.

Right now the there's a very silent battle behind the scenes.

But the proof and reality is Putin cannot leave his bunker, not unless unofficial, unplanned and quick for very short times.

The boa constrictor (consequences of his own actions), is tightening.
