    Germany is doubling its military spend, investing in LNG ports, etc. I'd say Europe is responding and the time of appeasement has passed. Not just wrt Russia, but China as well. For example, some European nations sending naval ships through South China Seas.

    Two superpower blocs - EU and USA vs the one superpower China (and its vassal state - Russia).
