Article 5 is often cited to claim that NATO is "defensive".

But au contraire what it means in fact is that tiny countries directly on Russia's border (estonia, Lithuania) can attack Russia and provoke a military response from Russia and bingo Russia is at war with 30 countries and the US.
Or maybe NATO won't bother with a5 and just attack Russia like they attacked Serbia and Libya.
