After the US funded and organised a fascist led coup.
When Ukraine voted, they voted for Yanukovych who was Russian leaning.
It was unacceptable to the US that Ukrainians could vote for a government the US didn't want.

So the US paid out $5 billion to get the government they wanted which exposes your ridiculous narrative that Ukraine is a "sovereign", "independent" nation which isn't being used by NATO as a military launching pad for NATO war against Russia.

For the 1,000th time, the 2014 rebellion was NOT fascist led.

There are elements of the fascists there, here and in most nations.

But like here they have not been elected to Parliament.

They only had 2% of the vote.
