    It's why Sinatra was so favoured by The Mob (fascism if not in name).

    Mushy, like a warm treacle enema (or what I imagine it to be like) I can't stand sentimentality.

    It's what drives Putin's yearning for the old USSR.
    The Fatherland, the ancient roots of Russia blah blah blah.

    It's toxic.
