You say they are frightened to see there equipment under combat stress because it will demonstrate its vulnerability and reduce its marketability? Conversely if it stands up well or they learn and improve any weaknesses this will enhance there reputation and desirability. How is the international market demand for Russias tanks going?
Tanks can be an offensive weapon. The countries supporting Ukraine have tried to avoid supplying weapons that can be seen to be offensive. Hence no fighter jets, no long range missiles. Because of Russian brutality the reluctance to supply more long range weapons is erroding.
