Obviously the US doesn't have to annex land or nations on their border nowadays because they make sure they are surrounded by pro - US regimes, Canada and Mexico. But they bomb/invade/breakup/occupy and or set up pro US regimes in the rubble. Serbia, Afghanistan, Iraq twice, Libya,Syria, Yemen. All this bloodshed is a result of the US attempting to dominate the ME and Central Asia, to be the worlds sole superpower. But Russia is an obstacle and a thorn in their side so the US must now destroy Russia. Or break Russia up like Yugoslavia or effect civil war and regime change.
