Russia exports food now....loads of it to China since the West's economic sanctions.
The wealth of Russia is in undeveloped energy and minerals so why invest in more farming when , with the help of China, Russia can crank up its energy and mineral exports .
Just look at Aus for example. Before the mining and energy boom , farm exports were the dominant commodity but now those have paled into insignificance vis a vis the exports minerals & energy, tourism and education.
IMO you have fallen for the emotive propaganda of "stealing land" rather than the Political Realism of what is actually happening now and the history leading up to it since 1991. But if "stealing land" makes you happy , then go for it mate!
