No sane person can take the numbers of casualties provided by the western sources or Ukraine as even remotely credible. Considering that completely unprepared USSR lost 15000 soldiers in a very bloody war in Afghanistan over 1o years, I find this number high. I am aware that the type of warfare back then and what we have been witnessing in Ukraine is poles apart, but not convinced in the accuracy.
