We [the Russian side] are accumulating forces for a major attack.
The main battles are taking place in the Avdeevka direction and in the area of Chasov Yar. The enemy is trying to hold us back with counterattacks, realizing that otherwise the front may crumble.
Yesterday, in the area of Berdychi, Orlovka and Tonenkoye, they were forced to send the heavily-battered 47th brigade into battle; another Abrams tank was destroyed.
The Armed Forces of the Ukraine cannot launch a serious attack: in order to hold the front, they are putting those unfortunate enough to be caught on the streets of Ukrainian cities in the firing lines. The remaining elite units are being used as mobile reserves, trying to stabilize the front line with targeted strikes.
Western analysts are right: if supplies are not provided, the Armed Forces of the Ukraine will face catastrophic consequences by the summer.
We are now accumulating forces for our main attack, which will of course take place after the spring thaw. Winter is our ally, but it is not very long in the south. During the short winter campaign, which has not yet ended, we liberated much more territory than the enemy was able to take control of as a result of the summer counteroffensive.
Will Zaluzhny be accused of working for the Kremlin? They will accuse him of it because there is an open political struggle in the Ukraine. Destroying Zaluzhny’s reputation is Zelensky’s number one task.
