In a further development, the Russian security service (FSB) says it has detained 11 suspects, including four it says are "directly" involved in last night's attack at the Crocus City Hall, state media reports.
RIA and TASS both cite the FSB as saying the head of the FSB had reported the news directly to Vladimir Putin, who is yet to address the Russian people following the attack.
"The FSB director reported to Putin about the detention of 11 people, including four terrorists who participated in the terrorist attack in Crocus City Hall, the Kremlin press service reports," TASS said.
RIA added in a subsequent statement that the FSB was working to establish the "the accomplice base" of those involved in the attack.
No details were shared as to who suspects are, where they could be from or how they were detained.
The report is unverified, and it is unclear if these 11 suspects are in addition to the two we reported on in our 7.48am post.
