On the 22nd of Feb, he was uncontactable, he did not disclose his whereabouts, had one attempt to exit Ukraine denied. He was successful on his 2nd attempt, with Putin's help, to get out of Ukraine. No need for him to run, so why did he?

Full intention to leave Ukraine. Not the actions of a man committed to the Ukrainian presidency but of one committed to avoiding justice with his ill gotten corruption money.

He abandoned the presidency voluntarily. He fled Ukraine to avoid facing the consequences of his actions.

It isn't that complicated.
