Just maintaining a semblance of balance.
This thread mostly quotes/cut-pastes western
media reports on the war; most of which is propaganda
as are the Russian reports.
But in a propaganda war, the best that we can hope for
to get anywhere close to the truth (and I know that you say you like the truth)
is that we consider the propaganda coming from both sides and then have a look
at the periodically published BBC war map.
That's not glorifying one side or rubbishing the other...just being generally skeptical...eh mate.
Otherwise, its bigotry, IMO.
IMO the object lesson from this war is that a country can't assert its National Security
at the expense of a neighbour; particularly if that neighbour is a Great Power (Nuke Armed)
That was true during the Cuban Crisis and , IMO, this is true now.
