The actions of Putin because of his unjust and unprovoked war on Ukraine are the reason why elections are suspended.

This is an immensely crucial distinction.

Putin could end his failed war any day he wants, it is Putin who is prolonging his failed war, not the US.

Putin ends his failed war, elections will be held again.

You see the problem here? Correct, the problem is Putin.

If the conflict will be like some of the others that the USA has been involved with
Ukraine could have no elections for 10 or more years.
And be prisoners in their own country.
