Wasn’t long ago the USA fancied itself as a superpower outright. Now it’s shitting itself at the thought of stepping into the ring with Russia or (even less likely) China. It’s turned into a country whose administration thinks nothing of starting a few wars just so they can profit by selling weapons to one side or the other (or even both!) as long as those dirty little wars don’t find their way back to the “Land of the Free”. It’s turned into a country that farms out it’s dirty biological weapons research and acts all surprised when it gets caught. It’s turned into a country that hyperventilates when Russia mentions nuclear weapons, while ignoring the fact that the only country that has ever used a nuclear weapon in war is the USA! The US have refused to recognise the independence of the Luhansk and Donetsk republics because they were “unilaterally declared”. Yet, when Kosovo unilaterally declared independence from Serbia, the USA almost fell over itself to recognise their independence.
