lets put into perspective what russia has done since October ......they have taken 500 sq km .......sounds great doesn't it !?
Consider tht the front is about 1,000 km long .......so on average that's about half a km all the way along the front . To give an indication of the distance to the Dnipro .....Bakhmut is about 700km from Bakhmut .
So 0.5km in 6 months ....1 km a year ......would take 700 years at current rate of progress to advance to the Dnipro in Khyiv area . Of course the shell shortyage will be cured in June .....the F-16's and hopefully some aid from the US ......so personally I doubt russia can even keep up current rate of advance .
