yes/yes to both propositions above.

If that's so, then why not a ceasefire/negotiatons now?

In March 2022 you and others pretended Ukraine ws close to a ceasefire ......about then russia gained 275 OF uKRAINE
THEY NOW HOLD 18% - does that answer your question ?

they haven't had their government removed and haven't had their country demilitarised and the annexation is not recognised ......BETTER !
