Zelensky cannot be held responsible fopr Putin's choice to expand his war against Ukraine, a war started by Putin 5 years before Zelensky even entered politics. It is simply illogical to blame Zelensky for Putin's actions taken many years before Zelensky came into politics.
Zelensky was simply naïve to think Putin could be a trustworthy partner in any negotiations, one just has to look at Putin's track record of breaking agreements he has made.
