    Despite the crisis, Russia will not sell their gold. What they need is Western help. Without Western help selling all their gold will not rescue their financial crisis. If Western help is not obtained then I think the only way out is go back to cold war days with their rubble worth zero. They will keep their gold no matter what happened.
