Just check the life expectancy stats of Russia vs Aust
yes Our pollies have made significant mistakes - particularly it not following the Norwegian example of keeping the wealth of the resources in the country instead of sending of most of it overseas (thank you Abbott and Costello)

What's your point? Zero sympathy when for the whole of my long life, they have tried to drag me and the rest of the world down to their level.

The Finns live in the cold and drink too much but do OK. [The couple I've met have been happy people]
