A relevant aside is Murdoch's apparent backflip on his previous tollerance of Putin. Even Tucker has changed direction slightly.

Pulling the global rug from under the feet of rusted on Communo-fascists is an important outcome IMO. Putin may not see the relevance but his inner circle will sniff the wind and (I hope) respond accordingly.
Trumpist-Putinists (a term I use for US based Communo-fascists ) such as Steve Bannon may soon find themseves without any support base. The same goes for parallel entities in Europe and elsewhere.
