If you know of any world leader who welcomes increased military presence on his doorstep against all previous international agreements, then I'll show you someone who previous generations would have declared a traitor and strung up.
Liberal democracy has turned all that on its head, a few tictoc videos, some blatant propaganda and the same old war machine rolls out yet another operation.
