How did they determine the flag colour on the missile launcher? Ukraine and Russia have russian made BUK missile systems. It would be good to understand how the unit that launched the missile was determined from the missile fragments.
The main question we probably can determine the answer to but nobody seems to talk about is why the flight was so far off course - well south of intended track and directly over the war zone?
What reason would the russians or ukranians have to down an airliner - it is not in their strategic interest. It is in the strategic interest of the Ukraine if russia can be maligned and vice versa I suppose but good luck trying to get the exploded missile serial number and Russia and Ukraine would just point the finger at each other anyway even if the number could be determined....
Any finding beyond "we cannot determine who is responsible" is dubious IMO.
