As much as many people dislike the US and Israel, I'd wonder if the firepower was in the opposite sides hands, what destruction would have been wreaked.
You could say that if Israel wasn't situated where it was, the world would be a friendlier place but I wonder whether it's proximity to the Arab nations, further secures any hope we have of future generations.
