100% they were leaking to the media. They would likely have no shares and hence no personal interest.
Others in board meetings would be employees under NDA’s and likely with WTC shareholdings. Why would they want to risk losing their jobs and see their share values fall by leaking to the media. They media doesn’t pay their bills.
Media leaks only occur when the leaker has something to gain.
