The official narrative is that 30 years ago to this day April 6th, Hutu extremists shot down the plane carrying their Hutu Rwandan President Juvénal Habyarimana and Cyprien Ntaryamira, the Hutu president of Burundi. They say this was done to justify a well planned slaughter of the Tutsi minority. Wikipedi et.al. would have you believe that around 800,000 Tutsi, men women and children were systematically slaughtered by militia and even their neighbours and members of their own family.
