In their DFS BCI mention two potential SOP flowsheets from SRC (Canada). With regard to flotation (which looks to be their pick) they go on to say "...industry standard flowsheet...proposed in some new WA SOP projects...".
We all know how well the projects with SRC input and/or flotation have played out to date. Not very well.
APC, AMN & BCI must be asking themselves if they really can do it better than KLL (or SO4 which admittedly had a slightly different flowsheet).
AMN in today's quarterly again mentions FEED work on processing.
Some of these project promoters are very keen to state how great their project is. How keen would they be promoting a competitors processing technology? It's a different story for the existing solar salt companies and BCI.
If AMN or APC started promoting RWD's processing would the potential investment capital looking at APC or AMN jump ship? RWD's flagship project which is hardly mentioned at the moment stacks up very favourably to what APC or AMN has on offer.
The sooner RWD can get a pilot up and running the better it will be for all potentially interested parties. APC and AMN both have the potential to blow hundreds of millions of dollars if their processing causes similar problems to those seen to date.
