Plenty of reasons why Mesoblast are setting up the additional phase 3 COVID-19 ARDS trial … in addition to the extraordinary high daily death numbers in the USA, new variants are just another reason why SI is all over it - remember monoclonal antibodies have proven to be ineffective against Omicron so who knows whether other approved treatments will save lives against new variants ?
