It apears that whie Omicron spreads rapidly it is affecting the upper resiratory tract rather then the lungs. While the numbers of infections are increasing exponentially, hospitalizations, while increasing, are not on the same pace as with Delta.
One wonders if Covid is morphing into something more benign as happened with the Spa.nish flu.
It makes me wonder if scarce money is better spent elsewhere then on Covid Ards
