With the greatest respect I'm not sure this is the place for religious analogies. I have no issues with whatever floats anyone's boat. But there are real world examples I can quote that irrefutably contradict the whole paper money thing and religion. I know what you meant was completely harmless but we just don't need to go there to make a point do we? No disrespect in any way.
