Noted in BHP news today about the Olympic Dam Deeps
"The iron oxide copper-gold (IOCG) mineralization style of the OD Deeps appears similar to the main body of Olympic Dam.
The best copper intersection was 126 meters at 4.1% in a hole where 580 meters of mineralization was intersected, which would be enough to get anyone interested."
Hillside is part of the Gawler Craton and Olympic Province where Olympic Dam, Carrapateena and Prominent Hill mines are located. Oak Dam is only 65 km from OD as well.
Gives me some hope that the deep drilling under Hillside might produce some good intersections.
