I don't think we are all aware. Some people have no interest.
They just throw stones occasionally.
Then when someone who does follow closely reacts to their lack of basic knowledge they are hugely aggrieved that a comment made in jest upsets them.

I had that recently enough with a pile on as well.
Such is the nature of HC.

We are expected to deeply empathise and commiserate with them.

I spend a great deal of effort, across a number of stocks, helping educate new or younger investors about the market in general. Often when you try and save/ protect their capital they fall in the hole anyway.
